Weird Toothpaste Flavors

Are you tired of the same old mint, spearmint, and wintergreen flavors of toothpaste. Well here are some weird flavors of toothpaste for you to try.  It is important to remember that it isn’t the flavor of toothpaste that makes our teeth clean, but the actually mechanical motion of the toothbrush removing the plaque and bacteria from our teeth.  Some toothpastes do contain chemicals such as fluoride that can help strengthen teeth, but the true benefit of brushing comes from removing the harmful microorganisms from our teeth.

Justin Marostica, DMD

Dr. Marostica, originally from Pennsylvania, attended Brigham Young University where he was a member of the Men’s Soccer Team and graduated with a BS in Exercise Science. He attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Utah Hospital receiving extensive training and experience in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Marostica takes pride in the solid rapport he builds with patients, each individual receiving the personalized care that they deserve. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association. He speaks fluent Spanish, having lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for two years serving as a missionary for his church. He and his wife, Ashley, have two children, Zack and Kate. Dr. Marostica’s interests include spending time with his family, hiking, fly fishing, ping pong and soccer.
